Our therapists are trained in prenatal techniques and modify pressure and positioning for safety. Most healthy pregnancies can receive this massage, but consult your OB/GYN if you have complications like preeclampsia, bleeding, or high-risk conditions before booking.

If your pregnancy is uncomplicated, doctor approval is often not required. However, if you have risk factors—such as placenta previa, hypertension, recent bleeding, or a high-risk designation—obtain medical clearance prior to scheduling.

We use side-lying positions with supportive bolsters or specialized pregnancy cushions to keep you comfortable and safe. Therapists avoid prone positioning and will adjust pillows and pressure to accommodate your stage of pregnancy and comfort preferences.

Sessions concentrate on shoulders, lower back, and legs—the areas you specified—for targeted relief. Therapists may also address hips, feet, and general muscle tension to improve posture and reduce pregnancy-related discomfort.

Many essential oils are contraindicated in pregnancy. We recommend unscented lotions or only pregnancy-safe, diluted oils with your consent. Your therapist can discuss options and perform a patch test to ensure no sensitivity or adverse reactions.

Many clients feel immediate relaxation and reduced tension after a session. Swelling and persistent pain may improve gradually; scheduling regular, weekly or biweekly treatments provides cumulative benefits and longer-lasting relief throughout pregnancy.
