Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Therapeutic Stress & Tension Therapy.

Your therapist begins with a brief intake, then uses tailored pressure and techniques on tight areas. You’ll remain draped, can request adjustments, and generally leave feeling lighter and noticeably more relaxed.

Sessions are usually offered in 30, 60, or 90-minute options. We recommend 60 minutes for full-body relief and 90 minutes for deeper, targeted work and lasting relaxation.

Pregnancy requires specific prenatal training and positioning. Inform us if you are pregnant or postpartum so we can provide a prenatal specialist or recommend alternatives tailored to your needs.

Avoid heavy meals and intense exercise immediately before sessions. After treatment, hydrate, rest if needed, and skip strenuous workouts for several hours to maximize benefits and recovery.

Some techniques may feel intense, but pain is not required for effectiveness. Communicate with your therapist to adjust pressure; we prioritize therapeutic comfort and sustainable tension release.

For chronic tension, a series of weekly sessions for 4–6 weeks is common, then monthly maintenance. Your therapist will create a personalized plan based on your goals and response.
