Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hairs finer. Timing varies—book appointments every four to six weeks for consistent results.
You may feel brief sting during hair removal, but discomfort is short-lived. We use skin-numbing oil, warm wax, and calming techniques to minimize pain. Arrive clean, avoid caffeine, and take ibuprofen 30–60 minutes beforehand if you’re particularly sensitive.
Exfoliate gently three days before to lift trapped hairs, keep skin clean, and avoid moisturizers or heavy lotions on the day. Let hair grow at least quarter-inch so wax can grip. Inform us of medications or skin conditions.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and cool compresses as needed. Exfoliate lightly after 72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, and contact us if redness or irritation persists.
Ingrown hairs can occur, especially with curly or coarse hair. Prevent them by exfoliating regularly, moisturizing, and using recommended post-wax products. Schedule consistent waxing appointments and avoid shaving between sessions. If severe ingrowns appear, we can advise targeted treatments.
Tell us about active skin issues, recent sunburns, retinoid use, or blood-thinning medications. We may postpone or adapt treatment for safety. Our therapists assess your skin during consultation and recommend alternatives like trimming or a patch test when needed.
