Get answers to common questions about Waxing - Full Arms.
Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth and lifestyle. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and soften hairs, so schedule maintenance every four to six weeks for consistent results.
Waxing can cause momentary discomfort, especially on sensitive skin, but most clients tolerate it well. Our technicians use soothing techniques, appropriate wax types, and post-wax cooling to minimize pain. Communicate with your esthetician for extra comfort.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about a quarter inch long to ensure effective removal. Avoid heavy lotions, recent retinoids, or sunburn prior to your appointment and inform staff about medications or treatments.
After waxing, avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and sun exposure for 24 hours to prevent irritation. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free lotion or aloe, and exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Yes—clients with sensitive skin can receive full-arm waxing with precautions. We offer gentle wax formulas, patch tests when needed, and tailored techniques. Disclose allergies, skin conditions, or medications so we can customize the service safely.
For optimum results, hair should be approximately a quarter inch (about 6mm) long so the wax can grip. If hair is too short waxing may be ineffective; if too long, we’ll trim slightly before waxing.
