Get answers to common questions about Waxing - Full Legs.
Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual hormones. Regular waxing can extend intervals and soften regrowth for longer-lasting results.
Avoid shaving for at least two weeks so hair is the ideal length. Exfoliate gently a day or two before, avoid sun exposure, and skip retinoids to reduce sensitivity.
Waxing can cause occasional ingrowns or mild irritation. Our technicians use proper technique and post-wax care to minimize risks; we also recommend regular exfoliation and soothing products to prevent ingrown hairs.
Hair should be approximately 1/4 inch long (about the size of a grain of rice) for the wax to grip effectively. If shorter, wait a few days; too long may increase discomfort.
Shaving defeats the purpose of waxing because it removes hair at the skin surface. If you must, allow at least two weeks before your next waxing so regrowth reaches the proper length.
Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though increased sensitivity is common. Inform us of any medical conditions or medications; some medical situations may require consultation with your healthcare provider first.
